Those flip flops that are looking a little 'tired' from being the sole footwear all summer...don't throw them out quite yet!
I was looking at our small pile of flipflops, one where the strap pulled out...one that had wonderful rubbery spines to massage your foot (note, key word 'had') but most were flattened from wear...and one pair that won't fit anyone next year. Thinking, wow, that's THREE pair of shoes that will probably end up in the land fill.
And, I decided to USE them.
So, keep an eye out here for an announcement stating something like 'Eureka!', or 'Egads!' or the like. Which means, I did it.
